That could be solved in other ways too.. like booting from CD, mount the

Oo.. that's old.. I never even used anything older than Sol 2.5, and
even that is old :)

Anyway, I use Sol8 on my SS10's and it works fine.. probably Sol9 works
too, but I never tried that on anything older than Ultras.

Disconnect the keyboard and connect a serial console.

On more modern versions of Solaris you should also use the "Software"
(Or software1) CD instead of "Install".. on 2.4 I have no idea.

No, but you can install it with a terminal, just remove the keyboard
and everything will be sent to the serial console in textmode.
