Anyone Figure Out How To Install Forte 7 Compilers w/o CD

I have been unable to jerry-rig a method of installing the Forte 7
compiler collection w/o using the CDROM. (ie: I copied the CDROM to an
NFS mounted software pepository)

It wants the actual cdrom mounted locally and somehow queiries vold.
Even if I create a local directory structure identical to the cd mount
patch and etc... it still will not work.

Is this a new anti-piracy mechanism?
