Is it possible to attach and use a local storage device (a USB flash
memory "keychain", perhaps) to a Sun Ray 1? This was last discussed on
the usenet about two years ago, perhaps things have changed since
then. I realize that some software trickery would be required to allow
the host server to mount the device and then apply the required
permissions to allow access for the user at that terminal.

Also, what would one need to do in order to have a Blade 100 utilize a
smart card for login as well as have some sort of user account sharing
between a SunRay host server and the Blade 100 itself? I'm considering
the possibility of using one or two Blade 100s in a lab of SunRays as
"local storage" workstations... equip the Blades with floppy drives
and CD-RW drives to allow users to login and save some of the files
from their home directory (on the SunRay host server) to local
    storage.

    Any tips/suggestions?

    Thanks in advance!
