What type of system is this A1000 connected to? What version of
Solaris? If it's PCI did you make the correct changes to the glm.conf
file? I know you said you made all the necessary changes but the
glm.conf can be confussing since it is/was documented wrong in a
couple of places...
For Solaris 2.6 it should be:
device-type-scsi-options-list =
"Symbios StorEDGE A1000", "lsi-scsi-options",
"Symbios StorEDGE A3000", "lsi-scsi-options",
"SYMBIOS RSM Array 2000", "lsi-scsi-options";
lsi-scsi-options = 0x107f8;
For 2.7 and about it should be:
device-type-scsi-options-list =
"Symbios StorEDGE A1000", "lsi-scsi-options",
"Symbios StorEDGE A3000", "lsi-scsi-options",
"SYMBIOS RSM Array 2000", "lsi-scsi-options";
lsi-scsi-options = 0x407f8;
Notice the slight difference on the lsi-scsi-option line...
