Howdy all:
A while back (a year ago) I removed the keyboard and monitor from my Ultra 5
and hooked up a dumb terminal to ttya. As luck would have it I need to hook
a monitor and keyboard back up, but I cannot remember any settings that I
would have changed. I have disconnected the serial port completely and I
get no post messages to the monitor. In fact I get nothing until dtlogin
starts. Everything works fine except this.
Things that seem important to know (eeprom settings show):
output-device=screen
input-device=keyboard
screen-#columns=80
screen-#rows=34
ttya-rts-dtr-off=false
ttya-ignore-cd=true
ttya-mode=9600,8,n,1,-
Any ideas as to how I get post messages and be able to drop to obp via
keyboard and monitor?
Thanks in advance!!
Chuck
