I have inherited an already-configured SunFire 4800 running Solaris 8 on
a single domain. The latest cluster patch has been applied to the OS
and the system rebooted via 'reboot -- -r'. My problem is with getting
environmental information out of prtdiag. All the sensor fields
reported show ??? as the value. Running showenvironment from the
platform shell reports temperatures, fan speeds, and voltages properly.
My initial phone call to Sun did not produce any meaningful results
and the documentation I've seen so far is silent on this problem. Any
suggestions on a fix? Thanks.
Doug
