We are planning to build a non-clustered Solaris 9 enviroment (with
RAID Manager 6.22.1) with two Sun Enterprise 420R and two A1000 disk
arrays. The two A1000 should be mirrored.
Both servers require access to both A1000's. Every A1000 has two SCSI
connectors. The servers are equipped with one dual port differential
SCSI adapter.
I assume that I am able to connect both servers to both A1000 disk
arrays. We are planning to create two RAID5 LUN's on every A1000 each
serving one server(database and application server). This LUN's should
be mirrored between both A1000.
Please do not hesitate to send your comments regarding this
configuration. Is this a supported configuration?
With best regards,
Fred
