Creator card broken?

Something strange has happened to the graphic (Creator) card in my Ultra-2.
In the text mode (white screen) there is apparently no horizontal synchro-
nization. (The CRT monitor is OK: I replaced it with another one - still
the same but both monitors work normally on other Suns.) However, when
dtlogin screen is on display and it is scrambled as well, the cursor itself
*is* displayed normally. So the hardware is seemingly not "completely"
broken. Is there any cure for this?
