The GUI should be /opt/VRTSvmsa/bin/vmsa
It makes sense to set PATH in root's .profile to
/opt/VRTSvmsa/bin:/etc/vx/bin:/opt/VRTSvxfs/sbin
and MANPATH to
/opt/VRTSvxvm/man:/opt/VRTS/man
To shrink or grow a volume, vmsa uses the command vxresize,
which in turn uses some other commands.
You can only shrink a volume if it uses vxfs (Veritas file system),
shrinking ufs (Unix file system) is not possible.
man vxresize
tells you hardly more than the syntax.
Especially for the command line, you should read the books shipped
with Veritas Volume Manager, or attend a Veritas course.
