I have only doen this when using JET (JumpStart Enterprise Tooklit)
avaialable from http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/content/jet/ (latest version 3.4.0) and it
was "relatively easy.

You will need to set up your multiple interfaces (either as virtual or
real) and have the relevent entries in the /etc/netmasks file.

If you don't reboot the server, then restart in.rarpd.

Using the the JET templates define the network and netmask of the client
and the rest is just like magic :-)
