it does add to your administration overhead, if nothing else. if you have an
issue, you'll have to go to your datacentre, and remove the ram, before
contacting Sun (or your reseller). I guess the inconvenience of doing this
is proportional from the distance from your desk to the datacentre
I'd guess the risk that memory from a reputable non-Sun supplier would damage
your hardware is negligable; but that's your call.
