I have a Sun Ultra 80 running Solaris 9 and CDE. (I've tried Gnome
before, but have never been too impressed, although perhaps a later one
is better). I have a Creator3D framebuffer, which I know is unsupported
in the Ultra 80, but works for me.
I recently got a new 21.3" 1600x1200 TFT screen that will run in
portrait mode - the screen can be rotated 90 degrees, and drivers exist
for Windoze to get the thing working okay. I've never actually tried
using this, although a few people I know who have used it under Windoze
find it better. Is it possible to do this under CDE, or GNOME with my
framebuffer, or on any Suns at all for that matter?
