Good - the next job is to install a domain using the SSP as a jumpstart
server. You will first need to allocate system boards to each domain and
create eeprom.image.[domain] files using sys_id for each domain.

Having read my notes ... the need for a serial connection between the SSP
and control board went away with version 3.0 of the SSP software or
possibly earlier. Very early systems could (needed ?) load the control
board via the serial connection. All rather vague and a long time ago.
This need not concern you.
