"cheep" UPS solution needed

Our office has had problems with different vendors UPS software not living
up to their promise per the Solaris versions that we are required to use.
Can anyone recommend based on experience a UPS solution that isn't too
expensive for the following systems:

Sun Blade 100/1cpu with 17" monitor
            Overall power requirement : 541 VA

Sun Blade 2500/2cpu with 17" monitor
            Overall power requirement : 865 VA

For which the software can force automatic shutdown through either USB or
Serial ?
