Hi all,
Iv been lurking around here for some time. I am the proud owner of a Sparc
Station Voyager with color screen. I want to use this as a brain for my
next robot (my other hobby)

I would like to boot the voyager from its local disk, but boot as if it were
diskless and then "park" the harddrive so that the shocks and bumps of my
roving robot wont damage the HD. Sure, there are better brains for a bot,
but heck, I feel compelled to release my voyager from its desktop and set it
free! I confess that most my experience is with PC's and windows (but I
want to be better!) Perhaps this is a no-brainer. Maybe Iv pre-conceived
a solution, and maybe the guru's on this group no a better way to achieve
what I'm after.

I have not even consider how I might leverage a PC Memory card in any
possible solution.

Please feel free to comment with ideas, suggestions and flames if you so
chose.
Thanks
Dan
