I looked up the original product intro from Sept 2003 and the warranty
was clearly stated as:
Hardware support 1 year
Call response 8 hours
Parts Delivery Next business day, on-site.

Sun price quotes do not list warranty terms on them as one quote may
have multiple systems that all have different warranties. Instead the
sales terms point you to the warranty website. The following is part
of the terms and conditions on all quotes:

7. WARRANTY
7.1 Sun warrants Products and Services as provided at
http://www.sun.com/service/support/warranty (the "Warranty Web Page")
(a hard copy of which is available on request).
