Hence the word "Free" was in quotes when I started the thread! It was a
stretch of the imagination to call the old license "Free". But that is
all in the past.

Does not sound too hard to do - you have just inserted a suitable
sentence yourself!!

The license would not need a major re-write of your Solaris 10 license -
just a sentence added.

But a better way to push Solaris 10 is

* Make it better
* Tell people why it is better.
* Publish a list of what was supported, but no longer is, so people can
be sure it is not going to hurt them upgrading.

I expect you have already done all 3 above, so there should be no need
for tricks with licensing issues.
