Hi everyone,
Is it possible to configure audio settings under GNOME for a user and have
those settings 'stick' in between login sessions? Specifically, I need a
way to have the audio output set to the line-out port with the internal
speaker off, and the only way I'm able to get this at the moment is to run
the audio control tool each time myself or one of the other users logs in
and manually sets up the line-out to be enabled.
This isn't stored when a user logs out, and in addition, when using the
'save session' option, the audio control tool isn't started next time the
user logs in so presumably the fact it's running isn't saved as part of
the actions that 'save session' causes to occur during the logout process.
Is this a bug or is it just the way GNOME's session management works?
Regards,
Craig.
