Yes oh' clever one, thanks for your tip, I thought it was obvious from
my request that repair and/or defect in format doesn't work since the X1
series uses IDE disks - which is why I'm asking in the first place.
Now is there any other way to mark the block as defective but using
format or do I have to replace the drive?
