svcs -a | grep ntp
returns nothing
svcs ntp
svcs: Pattern 'ntp' doesn't match any instances
STATE STIME FMRI
So, ntp was defined in /etc/services and I tried commenting that out
and restarting the services with not luck also. I reinstalled the
packaged and that did not help either.
I did try to go into svccfg and delete and add the service network/ntp.
When I do the delete, I get 'no such service'. When I do the svccfg
add network/ntp, I get 'Service already exists.' but it doesnt show up
in any svc listings anywhere.
