Thanks for the reply, but I get no results from ps -ef | grep -i inetd.
netstat shows that the network services are indeed running.
There is no inetd in /etc/init.d, but there are several longish scripts
like inetinit and inetsvc. Ring any bells?
I don't find this anywhere in the Sun manuals, either.
