two (RJ 45)internet connections. Any ideas on where and what to buy in
order to get this system up and running. I tried ebay ,but since I do
not know what I need to buy I am all confused.
You need to hook up a terminal using a null modem cable to TTY A (also
marked LOM). You need 9600 8N1, and you can use any decent terminal
emulation software. You'll know that you have the connection working
when you either see the OS login prompt (if the disks have Solaris on
them), or an "ok" prompt.

Hey Rich,
I have looking out for it ,but not sure. Please correct me if I am
worng.
I have to buy a RJ45 cable that will connect to a DB9 adapter on one
side. And than I have to buy a null adapter cable that will connect to
the DB9 adapter on one sire and than connect to my Laptop or PC (com
port).
I have to use a software named (putty) or simmilar to connect to the
server.
Since I am new to PUTTY and all of these adapters my question now is
that
How would putty know that I am trying to connect to a server via a com
port?
Thanks a trillion for being a great help.
