Hi Richard,

Hope you can help me further.

The problem is I boot it to single user model from CD, and I do disk analyze by read, there is no defected block.

but I can't do refresh and test, because it says the drive is write protected.

And now I can't even boot it up, here is what I got, it just stuck there.

How can I boot up from CD and fix it and make it bootable?
Much apprecaited.

Until you take the write protection off that disk you are probably not going to be able to fix anything else!

Did this disk EVER boot? If it did, what have you done to it
since the last successful boot?

Why is getting the necessary information to troubleshoot this problem like pulling teeth?????

When you are asking for help with a problem, your are most likely to get useful advice when you DEFINE THE PROBLEM. Right now, I'd have to go back and find all your recent messages in order to get full details on hardware, software, problem history, etc. I'm not sure that even the sum of your postings on this problem would convey the full details.
