I have problem with installation mysql.
I download package mysql from site http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/5.1.html#solaris-pgadd
(Solaris 9 SPARC, 64-bit)
The installation end successful.
but when I running mysql daemon, I receives error:
----------------------------------------------
root@server bin # ./mysqld
ld.so.1: ./mysqld: fatal: libCrun.so.1: version `SUNW_1.4' not found
(required by file ./mysqld)
Killed
the package was probably built on a Solaris 9 system newer than yours, or with more recent patches. You can try installing the latest Solaris 9 patches on your system, or download the Solaris 8 version of mysql (it should work fine)
.
