So why don't you just boot Software CD 1 on its CDROM?

If you don't have a CDROM in the machine then buy or borrow one. Checking
"scsi cdrom" on ebay.de shows a number of them which would be available at
very reasonable cost.

If your SPARC uses IDE (and you never did tell us just what kind of
machine you have) those are available new at very low cost, also.
