I want a software like Office but less expansive, so I think to use
OpenOffice.org or StarOffice 7.
Before I installed OpenOffice, but I did'nt find nothing that can open some
my mdb made with Microsoft Access 2000. So I tried with StarOffice because I
read that was possible have a program for database but surprice, I can not
open my db because there isn't any application right! On the intenet site I
don't find nothing that solve problem, only some words that say if I want db
I must have an ODBC program or better Adabas. I find it and I tried to
install before StarOffice but without any result. Realy I'm not expert about
this software so I ask you: how I can install OpenOffice with a support for
db or, if it's not possibile with OpenOffice, how I can install StarOffice
with db step by step for idiot?
Thanks for every help and sorry for my bad english.
