Hi,

Have you inserted a 18Gb disk internally in an SS20 ?
If so, then you better make sure that the system is properly cooled.
A sparc20 system was never qualified to run with more than 4.2Gb internally
and then you already had to place an extra coolfan between the disk and the
cdrom drive because it would overheat otherwise.

But, besides of that.... basically it's what you would like it to be.
Are you going to install alot of software then you might wanna make /opt
big.

Normally i would say :

/ 512
swap around 1 - 1.5 times RAM
/opt 1024
/var 1024
/usr around 2.5Gb
and configure the rest under /export

If you want to read up on some solaris documentation you might want to give
http://docs.sun.com a try ? All the Solaris8 books are there online and
downloadable in pdf format.
