Hello all,
I need a redundant solaris ultrasparc server
minimal config:
- single 600Mhz III or dual 360Mhz ultrasparc IIi or higher
- 1GB ram
- 2*36GB 10K SCSI with hw RAID-1
- redundant power supplies
- dual FE NIC's
I heard form an ebay trader that the only option is an E450 with X6602A
expansion to have internal RAID-1
other options were a E450 with D1000 or a 420R with D1000
All three options would "consume" 8U height units
Is there an other option?
The best answer would be "Sure the fire V240 can handle onboard HW RAID-1"
Thanks in advance,
Bastiaan Spandaw
