    No, that's not. That's a simple software limit in the OpenBoot Firmware.

    Forget it! There are no third-party IDE controllers that have OpenBoot
    compliant firmware (BIOS), and the bunch of IDE cards available for generic
    PCs don't work with an U5/10...
