Optimum SCSI device layout?

I have at work an Ultra 60 with two disk drives and a CDROM on the
internal scsi bus, and a Sparc Storage Flexipack (599-2130) containing
a tape drive and a CD/RW on the other bus.

I was wondering if there is a preferred layout of the scsi devices
in this situation to get better or more reliable performance when
burning CDs
eg, should the CDROM and CD/RW be together in the Flexipack on the
external bus, or is it more efficient to transfer data between the two
buses? Maybe it doesn't matter, but I thought it worth an enquiry.
Thanks for any thoughts on the subject.

Happy Christmas.
