I have an Ultra 5 (333 Mhz) and wish to expand the ram to something more
that 256 meg (which I presently have).

I see the 256 meg dimms for sale on Ebay. Seeing that they are higher than
the 128 meg dimms and the fact that Sun says that the Ultra 5 does not
support the 256 meg dimms ... a few questions come to mind )that I hope the
    serious users can assist with):

    1) will an ultra 5 benefit with more than 256 meg of ram?
    2) will the 256 meg dimms fit (for a total of 1 gig)?
    3) Can I still use the floppy or do I need to remove this to fit the 256 meg
    dimms?
    4) why does Sun say that the Ultra 5 does not support 256 meg Dimms? Are
    the people of Ebay misrepresenting?
    5) Thinking that going with 128 meg dimms may be the way to go - just very
    hard to find.

    Thank-you in advance.
