    Yes, absolutely.

    Yes, but you have to use the low profile ones (or remove
    the floppy drive).

    Sun say that because they don't (or didn't) sell low profile SIMMs.
    Plus, I guess it was also a marketing thing: if you want 1GB of RAM,
    you need to buy the more expensive Ultra 10.

    The Ultra 5 and Ultra 10 are the same machine, except for the
    case. Barring physical limitations, anything you can do with
    a U10 you can do with a U5.
