I ended up installing Solaris 9 on a hard disk and that allowed me to
apply the new upgrade to the OBP on the Ultra 10. So that part is
done.
Now the Ultra 10 will not boot either the Solaris 9 or Linux hard
disks. Reports bad magic number of each disk even though they did work
before the upgrade. I have read about this happening someplace and
will google to fine it this evening.
I did end up installing one of those IDE switchable disk holders, made
it easier to swap between disk. I would like to use that device as I
can swap between operating systems easily. Might remove it to see if
that is the problem.
Just want to let others know how it is turning out.
