Adaptec/other PCI SCSI cards in Sun Ultra 5, 10, ...

Anyone know if a Sun Ultra 5/10/etc. running Solaris can use an Adaptec PCI
SCSI card (spec. AHA-2940 series)? Sun lists support for the cards for
Solaris/x86, but no mention for Solaris.
