Thanks everyone for their suggestions on this. I found a card with the
Symbios Logic Ultra SCSI chipset, 53C875 chipset on eBay for $12.45,
so have bought that. It's OEMed to IBM for the RS6000 range, but
hopefully it will be okay. (I do in fact have an IBM RS/6000, but want
to keep the tape drive on the Sun).
I'm not bothered about being able to boot from this. I boot from the
Sun's internal disks, and don't see this changing.
If the IBM SCSI card don't work, I've been offered a Sun one from
someone in the UK, but I'd rather take the cheaper route.
