Ultra 80 opinions (and a Sun Ray question)

Hello,
I'm looking to get an Ultra 80 (e450 is too big) to run one or more
Sun Rays, so the Ultra 80 will be tucked away in a cupboard, i'm
guessing it will be terribly loud so I want it where I cannot hear it
;-), so generally speaking, will an Ultra 80 be OK in an enclosed
area, or will it need more ventilation?

Another thing, will it turn itself off in the event of it getting too
hot? I'd much rather it did that than explode...

And onto the Sun Ray thing, can I do everything I need to do with
Smart cards from a Sun Ray, or do you need a card reader on a
workstation?

Any other misc opinions on Ultra 80 / Sun Ray very welcome.
