I just adjust the vertical and horizontal controls on the monitor
until it's close enough. At least that's what I did with my Creator
3D running at 1920x1200 on a 21 inch display. Without it the aspect
ratio made things rather skinny.
But most monitors are roughly 4:3, so you need a 4:3 ratio for the
resolution.
