Hi,
I have been given a Sun Storedge L9 autoloader
http://sunsolve.sun.com/handbook_pub/Systems/L9/L9.html
which takes nine DLT 8000 tapes.
It was previously rack-mounted, so the side and top cover(s) were
removed and mounting bars attached. Hence it looks rather ugly, with
unpainted steel, rivits, the odd hole, etc showing.
I want to use this in my house, so would rather it looked semi-decent
on a desk, rather than a bit of junk.
I know this is a long shot, but does anyone have the side and top
covers from one? Perhaps you too rack-mounted the L9, but did not
throw the cover away. I assume it is one 'U-shaped' bit of metal, with
a clear window in the top, but having not seen one, I'm only guessing.
Can anyone help ? Please do NOT reply to the email address here, but
