Hi group
I'm tryinig to install a floppy drive on a Ultra5.
When i bought it, it came with no floppy drive.
So I took a standard PC floppy drive, manual eject, and connected it with a
standard pc floppy cable.
But I cant access the drive.
I also took a floppy drive from a sparcstation 5 along with the original
(straight) floppy cable.
That floppy was unaccessable also. So my question is, does the floppy drive
have to be a sun original?
Or have I missed something? Perhaps configure the openboot or something? I
have the latest OpenBoot installed, downloaded and installed 16/2-05. All
settings are loaded from default.
Maybe worth mentioning that I have close to no experiance with Sun hardware
but I'd love to learn.
