Hi,
Last time I had this problem ... I tried a single headed PC floppy cable.
No luck. The floppy light would just stay on. I had to go to the older
style ribbon cable for a PC that had the connections for a A and B drive.
The B drive was the connector in the middle (one end was the mother board,
the middle was the B drive, the other end was the A drive).
I had to use the B connector, the nib cut off so that I could insert it 180
degrees from how it expected.
