By 'clientroot' i assume you mean the root filesystem i intend to boot
on the diskless client? if so then yes, that was the idea...
I have an 'initial' tftp image on the debian server, which is loaded by
the ultra and accesses NFS, then loads and starts the installer
(supposedly). As stated here:

This would be the procedure if i had an HDD in this box correct?

The network is in my house where people cannot simply plug into the
switch, and its quite highly secured against external attack so this
doesn't matter. Of course if its not supported its not supported.

But that doc assumes im running solaris
