Yes. First, PCxxx is a term _not_ used with EDO. If it's labeled PC66, PC100
or whatever it is SDRAM. Only the first few PII computers used EDO because
they used the i440FX chipset which derived from the PPro. All later PIIs
used SDRAM...
EDO-RAM is differentiated like FPM memory before: by its timing. EDO usually
is 60ns in PC world which is what Ultra5/10 <400MHz use. 400MHz and up use
50ns EDO. The problem also is that EDO DIMMs were made in different voltages
(3V, 3.3V and 5V) which can be differentiated by its coding holes on the
contact side. If I remember right the U10 uses 3.3V EDO..
Don't worry, Ultra10s _don't_ need special memory. But You definitely need
EDO DIMMs, SDRAM won't work...
