Agree.

Last year I got a D-link 804 V/E, which at the time was about the only
one I could get that had pppoe built in. It also has an analog modem
port which can be configured as a backup, and I have used that over
ISDN occasionaly when my ADSL line has been down.

That router broke down two weeks ago after a power outage, and I
hurried to a local store to get something quickly. As I no longer need
pppoe, they gave me a D-link 624, with built in wi-fi (108Mbps) , and
is generally much quicker and also cheaper. It can also run 100 Mbps
on the wan port, the 804 V/E can only run 10 Mbps on the wan port.

When I configured the 624 I noticed that it also has a pppoe client,
although it is not mentioned in the docs...

Anyway, I can now run wireless on my laptop with Nevada. I can also
connect to the network at work over encrypted vpn :-)

I sent the 804 back for warranty repair and yesterday I got a new
804HV as a replacement. That is probably much better than the old one,
but I no longer need it.

I paid around US $100 for the 624, money well spent IMHO.
