You are missing the graphics driver packages for
   whatever graphics card you are using,
   since these would have never existed
   in the Ultra 5 days.
There are a group of 4-5 packages for this
   (Device Driver, DDX module, config program, manpage ...)
For you onboard graphics, I think it the m64 group.
   Hopefully you can find these on a Solaris install CD somewhere.
      Look for SUNWm64* named packages.

I'm still sorta worried that you are missing drivers and system
    specific stuff for other SB100 stuff, but if you are booting
    to Unix, you are getting pretty far.

You might also need some USB stuff to get the keyboard
    to be recognized by Unix, and the X-Server.

/var/dt/Xerrors list the errors under CDE.

You could also list the packages installed on you
   U5 and "real" SB100 systems, and compare.
"pkgadd -p" if I remember right.
