OK a new symptom that means i can't post the dmesg log. The machine
can only recieve data through samba which is the only way i have of
communicating with the machine used for this posting. The machine has
no USB ports so i cant use a usb drive, Gentoo doesn't like fd0 on
SPARC and it's only a cdrom in the machine. Also, this site is one of
the one's that the machine wont browse to so i can't post from the
thing itself. In other words i have no way of getting the dmesg log
out of the machine so that i can post it here. Is there any specific
part of it you are looking for so that i can just type it?
