Sun Blade 100 Memory (Size) question

Hi,

I recently got a Sun Blade 100. Upon boot, it was showing "640MB"
memory.

I wasn't sure exactly how many sticks were in the box, but I got a 512MB
stick of memory today, and opened the box up, and found 2 memory sticks
populated. With the 512MB stick, the boot display is showing 1152MB.

I didn't pull the original memory out to look, but was wondering how the
original 2 sticks of memory could have made up 640MB? Did Sun have
384MB sticks?
