Re: SCSI symbios 22801 firmware


As we have seen no output from the OP yet, I'd like to ask him to:


- report the Ultra 5's firmware version (prtconf -V)
- insert the card and possibly attach a disk (and termintor!)
- run probe-scsi-all directly after poweron (make sure the OS
does not boot first)

- then boot (-r) and run prtconf (-v/-vp) to get the device ids

The Fcode proms are only used for booting. But if probe-scsi-all
recognizes the device then no Fcode is needed.
