So, if I want to connect the Quantum 9 gb 68pin internally, I can use the
68pin standard cable that I used on the Adaptec 2940 uw , exactly ?

You're right,
I tested 2940uw but not booting the Ultra5.
After booting NetBSD-3.0 from the IDE hd, however, the 2940uw was detected
with her attached hard disks.

I bought two cards from US, one the 375-0005, the Other a Sym8751spe (that
many Sun users report working with Solaris and booting the Ultra5.)
One question : are you the Dr. Kirkby ?
