SPARC Ultra 5

Hello,

I recently picked up a second-hand SPARC Ultra5 with a 9Gb harddrive. The
unit is very nice indeed for what I want to do.

There is a slot in the front - above the floppy drive that can take a second
drive. The power source and cabling are all present in the inards of the
box. I went hunting on the internel and found references to SUN harddrives:

SUN X5236A is the 9Gb 7200rpm IDE drive
SUN X6174A is the 20Gb drive.

Here's the question - one web site I found referred to the X6174A as
equivalent to the Seagate Barracuda ST320414A hard drive. That led me to
thinking - I recently put in a Seagate 200 Gb drive into my windows box.

Is there anything that inherently prohibits me from putting a Seagate drive
bigger than 20Gb into the Ultra5 - something like the ST3120026A or
ST380011A which are 80 or 120Gb drives that I can pick up at Best Buy

Thanks in advance for the help.

Regards

.
