Install on Ultra 60 (solaris 2.6, 8)

Guys,
I am trying all the usual stuff, but at wits end on this...
Any help from the experts appreciated.
Anything I do to boot/install from cdrom, I get the same message, either install 2.6 (5/98) or 8 (2/02).
"The file just loaded does not appear to be executable"
I have used the install cd, software 1of2 cd and no difference...
Please tell me what I am doing wrong!
I installed this CD-RW, HP CD-Writer Plus, 9200Series, and I am trying to use it. Seems to recognize it...
